Dr Nishad Prem

Dr. Nishad Prem is a Specialist Orthodontist licensed to practise in Dubai by the Dubai Health Authority.

He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Bangalore in 2004 and completed a Master of Dental Surgery in orthodontics at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2008. A postgraduate certificate in laser dentistry followed in 2009, awarded jointly by Manipal University in India and RWTH Aachen in Germany. He also holds a master's degree in healthcare management, and spent part of his career in academic practice in India before moving to the UAE.

His work covers the full range of orthodontic treatment: metal and ceramic fixed braces, removable and functional appliances for growing children, and clear aligner therapy. He introduced aligner treatment to a previous practice and has worked with the technique since its early adoption in the region.

Dr. Nishad sees patients from around age seven through to adults. Early assessment matters more than most parents expect. Some bite problems are far simpler to correct while the jaw is still growing, and he will tell you plainly when waiting is the better option.
